About Etihad
Etihad Airways is the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, established in Abu Dhabi by Emiri decree in 2003 and operating its first commercial flights in November of that year. From its hub at Zayed International Airport (the Abu Dhabi airport renamed in 2024 in honour of the UAE's founding father), Etihad has grown into a global carrier serving a wide network of destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia and the Americas. It remains an independent airline, building its reach through codeshares and partnerships rather than belonging to any of the global alliances.
The airline is known for its award-winning premium experience. Across its modern fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Boeing 777-300ERs, Airbus A350-1000s, the reactivated Airbus A380 and the A320/A321 family, passengers travel in Economy, Business or First. Signature products include The Residence, a private three-room suite with a butler aboard the A380, along with First Apartments and the Business Studios, while the Etihad Guest loyalty programme rewards frequent travellers and the Abu Dhabi stopover lets visitors break their journey in the UAE capital.
Pack & Go is an authorized ticketing agent that books Etihad Airways flights on behalf of its customers; it is not the airline. Our agents handle new bookings, changes and cancellations by WhatsApp or email during working hours from 9am to 6pm, and help you choose the fare and cabin that suit you. Payment is simple, by bank deposit or bank transfer, with card and Tabby also accepted, and we recommend arriving at the airport three hours before departure.
Baggage
Etihad applies the Piece Concept on its routes to the Americas and on many destinations. Under it, Economy allows two checked bags of up to 23 kg each, while Business and First allow two bags of up to 32 kg each, with no single bag exceeding 32 kg. For cabin (hand) baggage, Economy allows one piece up to 7 kg, and Business and First allow two pieces with a combined weight of up to 12 kg. Allowances differ by fare type and route (some destinations use a total-weight system), so please confirm your exact allowance with Pack & Go when booking.
Cabin classes
Etihad offers three travel cabins: Economy, Business and First. Its signature products include The Residence, a private three-room suite aboard the Airbus A380, alongside the First Apartments, the Business Studios, and the extra-legroom Economy Space option in Economy.
Features & services
First Class & The Residence
On its Airbus A380 fleet, Etihad offers its most luxurious experience. The First Apartments give you a private space with a separate seat and bed, while the legendary three-room Residence remains in a class of its own: a living room, a bedroom with a double bed, an en-suite shower room, and a dedicated butler. It is an exceptional experience reserved for a handful of guests on this giant aircraft.
Business Class
Etihad's Business Class offers seats that recline into fully flat beds for restful sleep, with direct aisle access and added privacy through the Business Studios on newer aircraft such as the A380 and A350. Guests enjoy refined dining menus and award-winning service, along with premium lounge access at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi before departure.
Economy & Economy Space
Etihad's Economy Class is designed for a comfortable journey, with practical seats, in-flight entertainment, and meals reflecting flavours from around the world. For those wanting more room, the Economy Space option offers extra legroom of around 35 inches in rows near the front of the cabin. It is an ideal choice for long flights without the need to upgrade to a higher cabin.
Etihad Guest
Etihad Guest is the airline's loyalty programme. You earn miles on every flight, as well as through travel, shopping, and banking partners, then redeem them for any seat on any Etihad flight under flexible availability, or for upgrades, hotel stays, and other rewards. The more you fly, the higher your membership tier and the more benefits you unlock, such as discounts on premium seating.
Global Network & Abu Dhabi Stopover
From its base at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, Etihad connects travellers through a growing network of more than a hundred destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and the Americas. For those who wish, the Abu Dhabi Stopover programme offers up to two free nights at a hotel in the city or in Al Ain, turning transit hours into a short getaway to explore the emirate.
Book & Manage with Pack & Go
Pack & Go is an authorized ticketing agent for Etihad Airways, handling bookings, changes, and cancellations by WhatsApp or email during working hours, 9am to 6pm. Booking takes three steps: send your travel date and a passport copy, an agent confirms the details and price, then you choose a payment method: bank deposit or bank transfer (card and Tabby accepted). We recommend arriving at the airport three hours before departure.
